	Bristol Vegan Fayre 008 – Over 11,000 people at this year's show The BVF 08 enjoyed unprecedented numbers as the sun shone for the 6th year running on our humble attempts to portray the best of the UK vegan lifestyle. Over 130 stalls, 60 Talks and Demos, loads of entertainment and lots lots more resulted in a huge turn out from the vegan community, especially on Saturday when over 7,000 visited the show. The feedback both from stallholders and public has been in the main excellent, and plans are already underway for the BVF 009. Click here for the first photos – more to follow shortly.


	Vegfam 'Gimme 5' Campaign launched at the BVF 08 Over £350 was collected at the BVF 08 this year for Vegfam, with £400 also pledged from Veggies, VeggieVision, Beanie's, Animal Aid, Optimum Nutritionists, Bute Island, Excellart and Yaoh. Over 45,000 flyers have been printed and you can request as many as you like from Yaoh by emailing info@yaoh.co.uk or phoning 00 44 117 9239053 Every five seconds, a child dies from hunger on this planet, and the Vegfam 'Gimme 5' campaign is challenging this issue as best we can. 	Vegan Environmental Awards 008 – Winners Announced The results of 5 months of voting for the World's best in the vegan circles has been announced, and the winners include Benjamin Zephaniah, The Vegan Magazine, Suma, Andrew Tyler from Animal Aid, Booja Booja Ice Cream, the Bristol Vegan Fayre, Bristol Vegans and Yaoh. 	BVF 08 – Thanks to our Tombola donators Thanks to everyone who gave so generously to our tombola, and especially the following firms: The wonderful Alexander from Kinetic who gave us loads of brilliant JASON moisturisers as well as lots of samples. Emma Christie from RUDE HEALTH who sorted us loads of their organic breakfast flakes and cereals. Sandra from KASEY'S who donated lots of their vegan muffin mixes. The marvellous people at VIRIDIAN who sent us so many bottles of their Echinacea tincture. The beautiful BOOJA BOOJA crew who sent up their raw choccie treats and nibbles. Some gert lush HEMP OIL from West Country faves GOOD OIL – Cheers drive! Stacks of orange choccie bars from PLAMIL. A most marvellous donation of raw food goodies from DETOXYOURWORLD Loads of kit from ESSENTIAL - you diamonds!! Loads of other kit from other faves like GREEN PEOPLE, SOMA, VINTAGE ROOTS, QI TEAS, KETTLE CHIPS, REDWOOD and loads loads more, please don't be offended if we haven't listed you as we have so many!!!!! So much appreciated by lots of us!!!
