The King Blues, SohoDolls and Mark from The Levellers play Brighton Vegan Fayre March 21st
The line up for the Main Stage at the Brighton Vegan Fayre is looking red hot with the announcement of the King Blues, Soho Dolls and Mark from The Levellers all confirming appearances at the show
The King Blues – up and coming straight outta London and hot as they come, this 3 piece is getting scores of accolades from all quarters wherever they play, including a UK tour for The Big Issue this spring. Their 2008 album Save the World Get the Girl was undoubtedly one of the best albums of the year and includes the memorable track Lets hang the Landlord. The organisers of the Brighton Vegan Fayre are looking forward to this set more than any! Check their myspace page to hear some of the 21st century classics from this soon – to – be – massive trio of near legends – The King Blues

SohoDolls – with two band members and the manager all vegan, it was hard to resist this band, and one stop at their myspace page was enough to convince us that we really wanted this outrageous London band to play the Brighton Fayre. Mixing glam with pop to a mesmeric effect, SohoDolls will perform a short set at Brighton - a gothic-punk fairytale? burlesque? glam-cabaret? futuro-electro dickensian terrordome?
ladies and gentleman – the elusive, the enigmatic, the indefinable - Sohodolls!

Mark from The Levellers - Mark Chadwick has been singing with The Levellers since the beginning way back in the 80’s and is still one of the finest voices of his generation – and still performs to the highest level, with a mixture of ‘something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue’ in his extensive repertoire. With a mountain of hugely talented friends in Brighton where he lives, including several members of the Levs, its likely that there will be a few ‘special guests’ joining Mark on stage at what could well be the highlight of the show
